We love our homes very much. We bought this home back in ’95 through the blood, sweat, and tears of me and my wife. I can proudly say that this house is the culmination of our dreams before and the backbone of our goals now. This is where we raised our kids and taught them to become useful and responsible citizens.

However, our daughter pointed out that the house has looked the same ever since she can remember. As a matter of fact, she said that even on her old baby photos, the house pretty much looked the same. And quite frankly, we then noticed it too. So all of us decided that maybe we should try changing the look of the house a bit. Especially since now that we are going another major change in our life: I’m planning to retire next year. So we looked for different ideas and settled most of the concepts down. We even got some good window treatments through an online store. Honestly, the internet has never ceased to amaze me. Who would’ve thought that you can actually buy window panes online? That was one less hassle and we are now one step closer to recreating our house.
